Paula Peacock is a still life oil painter living and working in Colorado. Her art has been described as “witty and skillful, a kind of magic that only a good realist can pull off”, (art critic, American Arts Quarterly) and “dynamic, traditional realism with a twist” (art critic, Boulder Daily Camera). Her current work involves a series of paintings representing a selection of diverse civilizations/heritages and she continues to work collaboratively on an array of socially engaged projects.
Paula has taught at the Manhattan School of Art in Boulder, CO, Life Long Learning (continuing education program), Longmont School of Fine Art, Beginning Oil Painting workshops at Capistrano Beach, CA as well as 2 times per week in her studio. Paula has been a juror for local, regional and National art exhibits. Paula is Art Director for ‘Soft Voices’, a drop in center for adults with mental illness.
Paulas’ work can be found in numerous private collections throughout the United States as well as Italy, Brazil, Holland, Great Britain, Indonesia and Canada.
